Definition of a Community Artist of Open Road Productions

 

A Community Artist of Open Road Productions is someone that does not identify themselves as a professional artist. A professional artist would be someone that primarily earns money from their work within the theatre industry.

 

A Community Artist could be:

 

Someone that wants to work in the industry and wants to gain experience. This could be a student, graduate or even someone that wants a career change!
Someone that enjoys working on a production, willing to give up their free time but only as a hobby.

 

Participation

 

Open Road Productions will actively see that there are opportunities in each production for members of the community to be involved. There could be opportunities to work alongside or shadow professional artists in their area of expertise.
